What IS covered under the Limited Warranty?

Living Cube Furniture warrants our products to be free from manufacturing defect for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt or paid invoice is required as proof of purchase and coverage is not transferrable; it only extends to the original buyer. Please note that knot and branch holes in the wood are naturally occurring and do not represent a material defect.

What is NOT covered under the Limited Warranty?

This Limited Warranty does not cover moving parts including hinges or door glides, normal wear and tear (which is to be expected over the course of ownership), cracks, dings, dents or scratches that occur after shipping (damage in transit is covered by the shipper directly), color fading due to UV or sunlight damage, damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly (damage resulting from improper assembly is covered by the Assembler directly), improper cleaning methods or cleaning products, improper maintenance, storage or use of the product. Moving parts including hinges and door glides are covered by Blum, our hardware manufacturer, directly: The Limited Warranty does not apply if the product has been placed outdoors or in a humid environment, or if the product has been used for non-domestic purposes. The Limited Warranty does not apply to damage arising from abnormal use or if the product is modified in any way after shipment. DIY models do not qualify for warranty coverage.

What will Living Cube Furniture do to correct a problem if one should arise?

Living Cube Furniture will meet all obligations regarding warranties as set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act. We will examine the product and decide, at our sole discretion, if it is covered under this limited warranty. We will then take steps to ensure immediate repair or replacement within 30 calendar days. If no repair or replacement is possible, we will refund you for the cost of the damaged part or element within 7-10 days after the remedy period. Please bear in mind that it may take up to 30 days for the refund to be visible on your credit card statement.

Care instructions

Tighten the screws after two weeks of use, and make sure they stay tight by checking them several times a year. For all surfaces: wipe clean with a damp, soft cloth (water, high quality wood cleaner or mild detergent), then dry with a dry, soft cloth. Apply Mineral Oil to enrich and protect wood. Please do not use an abrasive sponge or cloth to clean your Living Cube as this may scratch or strip the stain and is not covered under warranty
