Living Cube moves company to Mexico, lowers costs and
streamlines shipping

Swiss designed, minimalist, multifunctional furniture maker resumes shipping this Spring, 2017. Brand new Pre-Order website with “Build Your Own Cube” customizability and real time pricing at a glance now available.
LIVING CUBE, The Story

In 2013, when Swiss artist and designer Till Könneker moved into his new loft in Bern, he needed a space to store many of the things we all have: a massive record collection, coats and shoes, his TV and DVDs, books, seasonal boxes and other utility items, his bike, and he wanted a second “bedroom” for guests.

However, instead of purchasing many different pieces of furniture (that would take up all the floor space in his apartment), he decided to design a more efficient allinone solution himself that would maximize the space to its full potential. The end result was the first Living Cube.

After his project was complete, he commissioned a friend to photograph the Cube for his personal art blog, and shortly afterwards it was showing up in design blogs all over the world. Our Co-Founder and CEO, Dana Loftus, soon found it online and shortly thereafter flew to Switzerland to begin building a company around the project.

In response to overwhelming global demand, and to lower product prices so more customers around the world could afford this innovative, space saving solution, Dana recently moved Living Cube to Mexico. They are currently in the process of redeveloping and scaling all operations, creating new product lines, hiring a larger team and renovating a new, production oriented manufacturing facility. As such, Living Cube is only taking pre-orders at this time.

However, orders placed before January 31st will receive a 15% discount and secure a place in our Pre-Order queue, which guarantees priority shipping at relaunch.

Living Cube currently features production models in four different sizes: Nano, Micro, Pod, and Urban, two heights (1.6m and 2m) and three colors (black, natural and white wash, with more colors coming soon).

We also have a Living Wall system which offers all of the multifunctionality of Living Cubes, without a bed on top or a storage room inside. For an additional fee, all products can be redesigned with custom configurations (aka “Freestyle”) to suit.

In mid 2017 we’ll introduce a revolutionary new line of Living Kitchens, Beds, and Offices, along with new colors, product styles and materials.

LIVING CUBE, The Cube

Living Cube makes premium, multifunctional furniture for modern living. We help people “Save Space In Style”.

This innovative concept combines 5-12 essential pieces of furniture into one efficient, space saving footprint: a media unit that can fit a 42”/107 cm flat panel screen; shelves suitable for books, records and/or clothing; wardrobe; workspace; closet; shoe rack; drawers; bike/skateboard storage; a queen size bed-ready loft; and interior ‘New Room’ for additional storage or workspace utility.

Born out of a personal need to address a challenging living situation (lack of storage, limited space), Living Cube is both useful and sleek — a genuinely inspired marriage of form and function. Available in multiple sizes, Living Cube is affordable, fine furniture for the discerning urban dweller, or anyone who requires equal parts utility, savings and style.
